Shujaaz TV is an extension of the twice Emmy award-winning Shujaaz multi-platform franchise. As Head of TV and Digital Media, I worked alongside the Shujaaz creative team to develop the channel’s format. The platform provided access to new audiences and gave us the opportunity to extend our reach.

Prior to my role launching the television platform , I was Head of Production across the rest of the transmedia youth channel based in Nairobi. I was lead creative across all platforms including a comic book—the largest print publication in sub-saharan Africa)—online video, radio, social, SMS, and web. Developing client-led media for organisations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Sainsbury’s, The World Bank. We won an International Emmy award for Shujaaz in 2014.
